Russell and Beckie Forsyth are the founders and directors of Crystal Light and Sound as well as Russell’s practice as an energy healing practitioner and the IEL Institute for the Spiritual Arts. Russell and Beckie Forsyth have been married for over 40 years, have two sons and share five grandchildren with extended family members all over the United States. A big part of their lives has been working and playing in order to raise a family in Texas. Russell and Beckie believe in a passionate, purpose-filled and grounded existence that supports living successfully in the world.

 

Russell is a writer, storyteller, teacher, musician, artist, healer, and inventor that has worked in the spiritual arts to develop his intuitive skills while helping others find their path to enlightenment. His career as an award winning historic restoration contractor, instilled an ability to focus his attention on the most subtle details. Russell now applies that skill to the world of the metaphysical, specializing in ontology where science meets spirituality.

 

Russell maintains an active energy healer boutique referral practice built on testimonials from other clients, doctors, counselors, business leaders, and professionals. He works one-on-one with several hundred people a year, in person and remote, specializing in master level energy assessments and intuitive readings. 

 

Russell invented a unique energy device in 2007 called The Custom Crystal Bed. He discovered in that process the passion to develop a multilevel teaching platform for personal growth, intuitive reading, modern shamanism, and the medical intuition. The IEL Institute features flipped classroom style model containing over 170 tutorial videos and a seven-level training program that teaches 21 subjects related to the metaphysical. His lifelong love for mysteries instilled a desire to understand the non-physical dimensions, and an energy detective was born.

 

Beckie Forsyth manages Crystal Light and Sound. She’s led a creative life as a mother, grandmother, artist, entrepreneur, community activist, leader of a nonprofit sports organization, event planner, musician, and singer. She has owned a spice company, a personal organizer business, and a restoration business.  Beckie is now certified as a crystal bed practitioner with alchemy crystal singing bowls. 

 

Beckie is a gifted charcoal artist, and a longstanding member of a women’s song circle that sings the music of St. Hildegard of Bingen, along with other spiritual music and songs of popular culture.

 

Over the years, Beckie has become passionate about working with alchemy singing bowls. The bowls are amazing pure tone sound devices that integrate the properties of pure quartz crystals with the metaphysical properties of gemstones, metals, and minerals. The beautiful music Beckie creates with the alchemy singing bowls offer an amazing opportunity to journey with the soul.

 

Along with Native American flutist Gahana Bonnington, Beckie is a co-founder of Heartistry. Together they performed meditative concerts called “sound-baths". Audience members often brought their blankets and pillows to concerts, and were encouraged to relax as they listen to this transcendent music and experience the ultimate journey of the body, mind, and soul.

 

In 2017, Heartistry released their first CD - Inner Sanctum, a soundbath journey through the chakras. This ground-breaking recording of the Native American flute combined with the beautiful tones of the alchemy crystal singing bowls creates a never-before-aural experience to deliver a sound that enters the mind to travel through the heart and reach the deepest levels of the mind, body, and the spirit.
